Dear Families,
As we reach the penultimate week of term, it is a good moment to reflect on what has been a busy and productive few weeks. The school is flourishing, and there is a real sense of purpose and positivity across TFS.
Our Year 11 students have been working incredibly hard in their PPEs this week. They have approached them with maturity and determination, and I have been very impressed with the way they have risen to the challenge.
Next week will be another busy one. We will be taking all of Year 7 to the Science Museum as the first of 25 unique experiences they will have with us through our T25 programme. We want every student to leave TFS with not only strong academic outcomes, but also a wealth of experiences and memories that broaden their horizons.
I was also very grateful to the families who gave up their time to attend our coffee morning this week. It was a valuable opportunity to listen, reflect and think about how we can make future events more accessible and appealing to families. Some great ideas included more evening events and a wider variety of activities, such as quizzes and informal social events.
From this week, I will include a digital suggestions box in each newsletter, focused on a different theme. This week, I would love to hear your ideas about the events, activities or services you would like to see us offer at TFS. The link to the suggestions box is here, and in the boxes below.
Next week will be our bumper end-of-term newsletter, celebrating many of the wonderful things that have happened across the school this term.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
