Welcome to Turner Free School

Welcome to Turner Free School, where you can engineer your future!
As a pupil at TFS you will have the opportunity to discover new subjects, meet new friends, try out new activities and shape your future dreams. You will get lots of help and support from your teachers and your pastoral teams, whatever your talents, interests or hobbies, so that you can be and do your very best.
When you join TFS, you are also joining Turner Schools, a local Multi Academy Trust. Being part of Turner Schools means that we have access to a wide range of staff and resources, all of which are there to help support you to be successful. We all work together to transform children’s futures, empower families and strengthen communities.
You will learn to think like an engineer, underpinned by our 3 core values: innovate, collaborate and celebrate. You will learn how to identify problems, find solutions and think creatively; to be resilient when things go wrong and to enjoy and celebrate successes. We will challenge you to be aspirational and to build your own pathway to achieve your goals.
At TFS you will not only follow an exciting academic curriculum rooted in the STEAM subjects - science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics - you will learn languages, music, drama and more. Every year, as part of Turner 25 - you will take part in 5 activities or trips to broaden your horizons and maybe even push you out of your comfort zone! There are also many different clubs to try.
When you leave Turner Free School you will be a confident lifelong learner, a respectful and courteous citizen, and a good person who does the right thing because it is the right thing to do
Working in partnership with you, your parents and carers, is key to our success. Together we can help you engineer your future!
Thank you for your interest in our school. Should you require any further information or would like a tour please email us, email@example.com, or call 01303 842400, option 3.
